Fun art prints for babies, children, and the young at heart!

In a ‘nutshell,’ I create beautiful hand-drawn letters of the alphabet, or should I say ‘Alf-abet’, and bring them to life through the use of animal illustrations. I personally digitally reproduce them into colourful prints, whether it be for a bedroom, playroom, or a gift for a new baby, and print in-house. All out of my studio in London.

My children are the inspiration behind Alf and the Walnut, from the concept, the joy it brings, and even down to the name! My previous career in children's retail marketing allowed me to learn the essentials of working digitally, paper quality, packaging and more, which I have poured into Alf and the Walnut to make sure my customers get the best quality finish.​

Alongside my personalised name prints, I also offer fun, non-personalised prints too, using the same unique 'alfabet' style.
Why choose Alf and the Walnut?
Materials
I print with high quality pigment inks on over 300gsm archival fine art paper with a cotton rag matte finish, which is acid, lignin and OBA free. This is used across all my prints. If you want to read more about why I use the paper I use, please see the FAQ page.

All prints are printed in-house to ensure high individual quality.

Please note these prints are unframed, any frames shown are for display purposes only.
Design
All letter shapes and animal designs in any name or word are original and hand-illustrated by myself, then personally digitally reproduced to ensure a high quality, evenly coloured finish.

Please be mindful colours may appear different on print to that on screen.
Sending as a gift?
If the print is for a gift, such as a birthday, new baby or Christening, I can send gift wrapped in acid-free tissue direct to the recipient with a handwritten gift note. Just let me know at the time of purchase and I’ll do the rest.
